There are two kinds of promotional USB drives: the ones that still hold their data years later, and the cheap ones that quietly fail with your client's files on them. This site only sells the first kind. CustomUSBDrives is part of the PromotionsOnly group, based in Lane Cove, Sydney, and since 2003 we have supplied more than 2.5 million USB drives across over 8,000 jobs.

Why ours do not fail

Every drive we sell uses A grade memory chips, never the recycled or downgraded chips that make bargain USB pricing possible. Every drive carries a 10 year data retention warranty, and every drive is certified to CE, RoHS and FCC standards. We also upload your data free of charge, up to 200MB per drive, so your catalogue, presentation or media kit is already on board when the drives arrive.

The range

Plastic USB drives are the volume best seller, the standard issue for conferences and campaigns, the kind Penske Australia and the Department of Communities and Justice order in bulk. Metal USB drives are the other favourite for a more premium hand feel, pen USB drives combine two promotional staples in one, and eco friendly drives come in bamboo, recycled and biodegradable housings.

Any shape you can imagine

Through direct factory sourcing we fully customise drives to any shape or colour. Mission Australia ordered theirs shaped like a pill; we have produced buildings, bottles, products and mascots. Standard production runs 2 to 3 weeks, custom shapes take around 6 weeks because a mould is made for your design, and for certain shapes and memory sizes we offer express local production in 3 days. Branding on stock shapes is pad print, full colour digital print or engraving. Resellers can access trade pricing through our reseller application, and drives can be checked in hand first via our samples policy.

Our story

PromotionsOnly began in a home office in 2003 and published its prices online from the day it launched, which was not how this industry did things at the time. The business moved through North Ryde to Lane Cove in 2005, where it still operates, with a Sydney team working alongside the group's own office in China. That direct factory relationship is exactly why we can insist on A grade chips and certification on every order, because we deal with the people making the drives, not a broker's broker.

Backing good causes

For more than 15 years the business has made monthly donations to WWF, Sea Shepherd, Médecins Sans Frontières, World Vision, where we sponsor two children, and Monika's Doggie Rescue in Sydney, and has supplied the Humpty Dumpty Foundation with product at cost or donated for over a decade. Registered charities receive a discount off the prices shown on this site.
